DynaCap™ Travel Specs
DynaCap is optimized for use with 0.5mm silencing rings, which provide 0.25mm of pre-compression to keep everything snug and eliminate unwanted rattle. We know some EC enthusiasts prefer a bit more travel, so we also offer 0.3mm rings, allowing for up to 3.95mm of total travel. Technically, you can use DynaCap™ without any rings, but doing so leaves a 0.25mm gap above the slider, which may introduce rattle on the upstroke from the lack of a ring. We don’t recommend it, but we’re sharing the specs anyway so you can make an informed decision.
